Introduction

The main theme of my practice lessons was travelling and planning. The topic had been chosen to help children in potential foreign trips. What is more training planning is an important aspect in pupils’ personalities development.

Throughout the practice a number of techniques were used such as songs, raps, games, chants, poems, crosswords and jumbles, stories, colouring, movement-TPR, craft activities, drama, role-plays. I practice different language skills also like as: writing, listening, reading, speaking, and pronunciation.

Among the used materials were not only course books but also pictures, role-play cards, posters, realia, flash cards.

To sun there were various materials and techniques used to reach the stated.
LESSON PLAN

Class: the third form of primary school (class III d) No in class: 24
Level: beginners/elementary (third year of learning, 2 lessons a week)
Data: 17.02.07. Time: 45 min.
Topic: The weather
Aims: by the end of the lesson pupils will be able to:
• Ask and answer question about the weather
Objectives: The aim will be reached by:
• Matching to the pictures;
• Describing the weather on the pictures and outside the window;
• Practicing Present Continuous by describing;
• Practising vocabulary on the weather in the dialogue;
Language skills: speaking – talking about the weather.
Classroom organization: lockstep, turn-taking, individual, pair work;
Functions: asking and answering the questions about the weather, describing the weather and the actions shown in the pictures;
Vocabulary: It’s sunny, hot, windy, cloudy, cold, raining, snowing, foggy, it’s raining, it’s snowing, verbs in infinitive and continuous form: rain- raining, snow- snowing, known- numbers 1-8, days of the week;
Language structures(receptive): classroom instructions, role- play
Language structures(productive): What’s the weather like today? It’s sunny/ hot/ windy/ cloudy/ cold/rainy/ snowy/foggy/, present continuous (it’s raining), let’s go home;
