SZKOLNY KONKURS WIEDZY O STANACH ZJEDNOCZONYCH

Konkurs przeznaczony jest dla uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych i średnich. Celem konkursu jest sprawdzenie wiedzy uczniów z zakresu kultury, historii i geografii Stanów Zjednoczonych. Na napisanie testu uczniowie mają 45 min.Aby ułatwić przygotowanie do konkursu podałam zakres materiału oraz tytuły książek i’ użyteczne’ strony internetowe, gdzie uczniowie mogą znaleźć i wyczytać wszystkie potrzebne informacje w celu prawidłowego rozwiązania testu.

3. The political system. The parties, Parliament and the government.
4. The founding of America.
5. Religion.
6. The most important events in the history of the USA.
7. The system of education of the USA.
8. American industry.
9. Differences between the North and the South.
10. New York, Hawaii – its past and tourist attractions.
11. The movie ‘industry’.
12. Famous American presidents.
13. Famous American writers, actors, musicians, politicians and scientists.
14. Everyday life ( food and drink, pubs, eating out, houses, shopping, earning money, public transport, traveling, spending free time ).
15. The language.
