Scenariusz lekcji języka angielskiego przeprowadzonej w klasie I gimnazjum.
Subject: “Winnie-the-Pooh” – reading.
CELE OGÓLNE: Wprowadzenie pytań w czasie Present Simple.
CELE OPERACYJNE:
1. Uczeń potrafi udzielać odpowiedzi na pytania formułowane przez nauczyciela.
2. Uczeń rozumie czytany tekst, potrafi korzystać ze słowników dwujęzycznych.
3. Uczeń umie formułować pytania w czasie Present Simple, dostrzega różnice między operatorem stosowanym w 3 osobie liczby pojedynczej i w pozostałych osobach liczby pojedynczej i mnogiej.
4. Uczeń umie wykonać ćwiczenia z zastosowaniem czasu Present Simple.

OBJECTIVE 1 (estimated time: 5 min.)
CONTEXT: Presentation done by teacher.
ACTIVITY/CLASS ORGANISATION:
- students are asked about Winnie-the-Pooh
- key vocabulary is presented on the board and explained
LANGUAGE: bear, honey, small brain (connected with Pooh)
AIMS: board, “Winnie-the-Pooh” book
OBJECTIVE 2 (estimated time: 20 min.)
CONTEXT: A text about Winnie-the-Pooh
ACTIVITY/CLASS ORGANISATION:
- students are divided into groups of 4
- teacher distributes texts and dictionaries within each group
- together with the whole class questions are read and explained if necessary
- students task is to read the text, answer the questions, and explain any new words
- the answers are checked aloud – students are asked to show 100 Acres Wood
- when students work in groups teacher monitors them
LANGUAGE: Affirmative sentences and questions in Present Simple
AIMS: xeroed materials, dictionaries
OBJECTIVE 3 (estimated time: 10 min.)
CONTEXT: Students’ knowledge, presentation done by teacher, exercise in student’s book
ACTIVITY/CLASS ORGANISATION:
- students are asked what new they could notice in the questions
- exemplary sentences are written on the board – students copy them
- the difference between DO and DOES is explained – preferably students work it out by themselves, if it isn’t possible the teacher gives the rule
LANGUAGE: Present Simple questions
AIMS: board, questions from the text
OBJECTIVE 4 (estimated time: 10 min.)
CONTEXT: Students’ knowledge, exercises in student’s book and activity book
ACTIVITY/CLASS ORGANISATION:
- in pairs students ask questions from the exercise 5 (student’s book page 54) and write down the answers
- students report back the findings to the whole class in 3rd person singular
- students do exercise 2 (activity book page 31)
- to chesk the correctness of their work individual students are asked to write the questions on the board
