Exercise 1

The teacher gives the students the subject of the lesson telling them what the lesson is going to be precisely about.

The teacher distributes charts to the students and they have to fill it with appropriate information. Students work in pairs filling in the gaps in English or in Polish. They can predict some answers. Students compare answers working in pairs. Then SS are asked to turn on computers and type the website: http://www.woodlandsjunior.kent.sch.uk/customs/questions/index.html

They should find the information and decide if they were right. The teacher monitors work of each pair.

Feedback - the teacher reads questions aloud and the students give possible answers to them.
