The chance to integrate with other countries in Europe gives Poland an opportunity for overcoming cultural and social differences. Often, some elements of tradition are adopted unconsciously and become part of our own accepted culture.
However, we have to remember our own traditions and national identity.
Therefore, it is important to pass them to the next generations.
In the past it was parents and grandparents who taught us songs and dances.
The child observed the adults during different celebrations, rituals and naturally grew as a part of it.
It is different now. the school plays a leading part in passing on the culture of our region.
Now, it is up to us , whether these spiritual values will survive within ourselves for the next generations.

Therefore, we would like to present a few polish songs and dances which are the elements of our culture. Let’s start from Polonez, used as a starting dance during the major celebrations such us balls, weddings, parties and today's proms.

Another, our national dance is KRAKOWIAK. It originates from our former capital of Poland. Let’s see the dance being performed by our small friends in a minute.

As time goes by, our tastes change, we listen to different rhytms, we are interested in a different kind of music. We mustn’t forget, though about nourishing our traditions, however keen we are on modern music.
Welcome to the stage our talented artists. First, our former students Rafał with his partner Sylwia.

And now it is high time to see and listen to some today’s hits being performed by our students. Ladies and gentelmen, please , put your hands together for Golec Orkiestra.
