I’m into sci-fi books, so my first choice would be the first book called “I, Robot”.
Firstly, the topic is something I’m really interested in because the plots of sci-fi stories are usually exciting.
Besides, sci-fi authors have very creative ideas.
In my opinion, this book is perfect for holidays also because short stories are quick to read and you don’t get bored easily.
I don’t find the other two options very interesting, and they have nothing to do with a good holiday read.
The photo on the second cover looks like a picture you can see on a sports page in every newspaper, and the story seems boring. I’m not a fan of sports.
When I look at the third cover, it reminds me of a story for children. It may be good for teenage girls who like romantic love stories, but it’s not good for me.
That’s why I’d decided to choose the first book.
My first choice would be the job in picture three. I’d like to work as a hotel receptionist during my holidays.
There are many reasons why.
Firstly, I love learning foreign languages and working at a reception desk.
Also, as a receptionist, I can meet some famous people and get their autographs. Collecting autographs is my hobby.
What’s more, it’s an easy job and you have some days free, so it’s perfect for the summer.
Finally, I could make a good hotel receptionist because I’m good at talking to people and organizing things quickly.
But, I don’t think I could be a good house cleaner because I’m quite messy and I hate doing housework.
Also, I don’t want to be a waiter because I don’t know anything about food and cooking.
That’s why I’d like to choose the third job and work as a hotel receptionist.
My first choice for a birthday meeting would be the café in picture three. I think the place serves tasty home-made food.
The décor looks stylish and elegant too.
In this place the guests can sit inside and outside, and I think this
café has a lovely view of the old town.
I’m sure my guests would like to eat at this place. So, I wouldn’t like to choose the restaurants in pictures one and two ...
