A grammar lesson makes students switch off. Listening to songs they know well lets them focus on the song and not on grammar structure. They practice grammatical structures unknowingly and learning by singing makes them remember the grammatical structure unconsciously. They make a connection between a basic sentence and music. The aim of the lesson is to learn the 2nd conditional, practise listening for detail and learn and practise some verb-noun collocations.
