Zdobycie sukcesu w nauce języka obcego jest zależne od wielu czynników, do których zalicza się, między innymi, osobowość nauczyciela, jego nastawienie i sposób prowadzenia lekcji.
Jedną z propozycji pobudzenia zainteresowania uczniów językiem obcym są ciekawie prowadzone lekcje.
LESSON PLAN 1
Introduction
In this lesson, the students will learn about London. They will practise vocabulary of famous places in London, listen to a recording of a guided tour on an open top bus in London and complete comprehension activities. Finally the learners will develop their speaking skills by role-playing situation based on the listening.

Introduction
Aims:
• To build students’ cultural knowledge
• To increase students’ interests in English
• To develop students’ listening skills
• To develop students’ speaking skills
• To introduce some of the most famous places in London- Oxford Street, Madame Tussauds Museum, Tower of London, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge
Anticipated problems:
• Some students may not understand a listening task.
• Some students might not want to do the speaking activity or they might talk in Polish.
• Students may confuse the names of places with their photos or characteristic descriptions.

2 PROCEDURE
WARMING- UP (5 MINUTES)
The teacher welcomes the learners, and the lesson starts with a short conversation ‘How are you? How is your day?’ The teacher checks the students’ attendance at a class and homework from the previous lesson. The teacher introduces a new subject.
PRESENTATION (35 MINUTES)
The teacher writes London on the board and asks the students to tell what they know about this city, where the city is located and if they have been to London, if they know any famous places in London, etc. The teacher shows the map of Great Britain and presents some geographical facts – general facts of the UK and London.
