Temat "Przestępczość i wymiar sprawiedliwości" pojawia się w programie nauczania języka angielskiego w szkole ponadpodstawowej już w klasie pierwszej. Wprowadzenie słownictwa i jego używanie w praktyce nie jest jednak zadaniem łatwym, głównie ze uwagi na fakt, iż w/w tematyka nie jest uczniom tak bliska, jak np. szkoła czy zakupy. Tymczasem zarówno na maturze, jak i podczas egzaminów na FCE czy ACE od uczniów wymaga się umiejętności wypowiadania się także i w zakresie tematów społecznych - w tym o przestępczości i wymiarze sprawiedliwości. Dlatego chciałabym zaprezentować scenariusz zajęć, umożliwiający ćwiczenie słownictwa i jego wykorzystanie. Zajęcia obejmują słownictwo, zadania związane z czytaniem, mówieniem, słuchaniem i pisaniem. Lekcja skierowana jest do uczniów klasy III liceum na poziomie Upper- Intermediate.
