Chciałabym, by każdy nauczyciel wziął sobie do serca przesłanie wstępu tej pracy. O ileż mniej mieliby wtedy rodzice do nauczenia w domu...., zwłaszcza dziecka dyslektycznego... Elzbieta

Odnoszą się do słów użytkownika "Malita" nie tylko nauczyciele ale przede wszystkim pierwotni opiekunowie (rodzice, rodzina) mają sporo pracy do wykonania, zanim dziecko pójdzie do szkoły. Bardzo często szkoła (już od przedszkola) jest "filtrem" przez który przechodzą dzieci, a rodzice dowiadują się m.in. o różnego rodzaju zaburzeniach (opinie, orzeczenia) nieodpowiednim sposobie wychowania i przedziwnych zachowaniach dziecka, które w warunkach domowych nie mają miejsca (jak twierdzą rodzice). Efektywność nauki dziecka to działanie obu stronne i szkoły i rodziny.
The most important techniques in teaching English to young learners which influence the development of language skills
Teaching English as foreign language can be essential for young learners. Proper conduct of the learning process provides adequate techniques. It is very important in teaching English to apply many techniques and approaches because young learner’s mind between the age of 6 and 10 can absorb the knowledge very well. As Harmer (1998:81) states one of the most common truths is that young children learn more effectively and much faster than any other group. Nevertheless, teaching English to young learners is not as easy as it seems. Teacher may face many difficulties when they teach English as foreign or second language and should have his own strategies to overcome problems. There are several general characteristics of young learners. Children at this age learn and forget knowledge very quickly. They get rapidly bored and discouraged as well as they are alive and bustling. Child is self-centered and likes to deal only with things which are closest to him, he likes to work individually, but group work gives him great satisfaction and a sense of success as well. Child requires needs the physical activity for the whole body and the sensory experience are the most important. Children need a strong security feeling. They are very sensitive to criticism but they like to fantasize and mixing facts with fiction. They have a natural cognitive curiosity. It is important to remember that according to methodology of Scott, Ytreberg (1990: 1-20) and Harmer (1998:60-94), a students at this age learn fast and forget fast as well. They need the physical activity for the whole body and the sensory experience is the most important. Children are vivid and very active, they easily get bored and put off. Children want to be self-centered, and they like attend to activities that he or she is familiar with. Boys and girls like working individually, though the team working is satisfactory for them. They have a strong sense of security and are sensitive to criticism. Children love to fantasize, mixes fiction and facts. They possess a natural cognitive curiosity. At the lever of elementary school a teacher should be creative, because it is not easy to teach English to children.
