Animals - rhyming poems.

Jak nauczyć dzieci nazwy zwierząt w języku angielskim i jednocześnie zaciekawić poezją? Najprostszym sposobem są krótkie, rymujące się wierszyki zawierające angielskie nazwy zwierząt. Do tego ćwiczenia można wykorzystać flashcards z rysunkami zwierząt.

Title: The Rhyming Poems

Level: elementary

Aims:

The students are able to complete the poems with the proper names of animals.

The students learn new words ( animals ).

Procedure:

The students are provided with the poems and the pictures of animals. The pictures

should be put in a visible place, e.g. on the blackboard.

They read the poems individually and try to complete the gaps with the suitable

words.

They have to decide which picture goes with the given poem.

The students write their own poems. They work in pairs and try to complete their

friend’s poems with the names of animals.
